So ALL those experts got sucked into the HBO commentary except you and the others that say it was closer (mostly blacks, Mayweather fans and Pac haters).... Pretty unrealistic and a little arrogant.
Galileo was considered pretty unrealistic and more than a little arrogant for blaspheming the earth to be spherical. :deal
It was a robbery. Plain and simple. It's indisputable. Even the lopsided poll demonstrates the general consensus regarding the outcome and scoring of the fight.
I thought 1 was a Pacquiao round. 8, 11 and 12 were the swing rounds of the fight. Probabilistically its maybe best to assume he won 1 or 2 or them. 9-3, 10-2 best scores. Also, the 7th round I thought was decisively Pacquiao's. He was dealing the harder connects and most of Bradley's shot were hitting the gloves. That said, the compubox stats for it were way off.
You are still talking in opaque, broad terms. Discussing specific R-B-R scoring is the only way to be taken seriously in this matter. Which six rounds can you absolutely not give Bradley? Of the 1st, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th, which require that you have to really stretch or 'give Bradley the benefit of every doubt" to score his way?
It wasn't a pretty fight by any means....Tim was fighting on the back foot the entire night utilizing the jab to keep a buffer between him and Manny to avoid exchanges. Manny won at least 9 rounds but that's being generous. Tim should do better this fight but he'll look to erase his previous efforts by actually looking to win, which will give Manny more opportunities to land a knockout shot.
It was a close fight. bodyopus, BoneKrusha, Boxmaster, Brandish, buckdacious, Cinderella Man, cuchulain, cyrax99, DeadLikeMe, deadlizard, herwil10, hussleman, iidata, Jacory Harris, jaytxxl, JoelRodrigass, jonze86, kamaveli, Lartize, madhouse, MercuryChild, Money, Nay_Sayer, nightmare nick, pazdzo, perko, Pimp C, piotro21, remi, ripcity, Royal SpanKING, Skellz, Southpaw100, Spoorloos, Stefan Johnson, stiflers mum, Str8ryte, StreetsofRAGE, yingyang :nut
Nothing wrong with thinking it was close. In fact, the poll options aren't even diametrically opposed. You can think it was a clear, solid, locked-in 7-5 for Pacquiao which makes it both a robbery yet also still a close fight. :deal In fact, thinking along such lines shows one to be far more reasonable than either those believing it was a fair decision or those who thought Pacquiao achieved something near a shutout.
I thought bradley won the last 4 rounds or at least the last 3. then add the 1st, and a couple middle rounds u have 5-6 rounds. in my eyes u cant call that a robbery. I didnt think bradley won, but a robbery has to be like 8-4 9-3, this was not this fight
