    What do you think?

I know it seems strange to called JMM a cherry pick, he is a great fighter but i remember before the fight, everyone was saying Pacquiao wins easily, Marquez is old and done.

I believe they wanted this fight for an easy decisive win over him finally, thinking he was done. I know a lot of other people thought it was a cherry pick on a shot Marquez too before the fight happened but it was quickly forgotten about after he proved again he has Pacquiao's number.

And before anybody starts with the ***** **** or say i'm hating on Pacquiao, i am a fan of Pacquiao as a fighter, just as much as i am a fan of Mayweather's fighting ability.

Marquez didnt win because of steroids.

Who was the stupid fighter who came wading in, with his chin hanging out?

Thats not steroids, thats poor boxing IQ.

I'm talking about the third fight. There was never any talk of Marquez doing anything illegal when that fight happened, only around the 4th fight. He simply outboxed Pacquiao in the third.

Lots of hall of fame fighters can be cherry picked at a certain point. I believe they thought Marquez was at that point and got it wrong. I'm not alone, most people felt the same at the time. It's easy to look back on it knowing the result and say otherwise, but this was the general consensus when the third fight was made.

It's funny how *******s quickly change the tune. Before jmm vs pac 3, they were claiming jmm was going to get knocked out and it was career suicide. Saying how it was just a stay busy fight for pac. Claiming jmm was old, slow, fighting bums, was not on mannys level. Also the famous "pac is now a full welterweight, he beat odlh, cotto etc, who has jmm beat". Even after the 3rd they still defended the robbery and pretended to agree with the horrible decision.

Then ktfo6 and the whole tune changes. For those who claim pac always gave him a rematch, no he didn't he waited out jmm 4 years between 1, 2 & 3. Pac didn't just "give" him the remach, he earned them by arguably beating pac in all their fights. Ktfo6 is not a controversial win, it's clear cut meaning the war is over.

Marquez was not a cherry pick, and there's no such thing as a cherry pick gone wrong. People came up with that to discredit a fighter when they said it was a cherry pick but turned out to be a tough fight, but they have to stick to their guns. So they say "Well, it was a cherry pick gone wrong". When in reality, they didn't know what the **** they're talking about to begin with.

I feel like I'm in a Dave Chappelle skit.

No, people THOUGHT Herrera was a cherry pick because he's a small name. He beat Provodnikov too, probably better than Algieri did. So what is Algieri to Pacquiao? A cherry pick or no?

But Rigo is already recognized as an elite fighter. People thought Donaire, who was P4P at the time, would beat him but Rigo showed us he's elite. Like I said; Herrera beat Provo just like Algieri. So if Herrera is a cherry pick for Danny, is Algieri not a cherry pick for Pac?

Herrera did beat Danny, he'd beat Provo now too. How does Algieri belong in the same ring as Pacquiao though? Not bashing Pacquiao, but Algieri shouldn't even be at this stage yet. He has 20 fights, only one 12 round fight, and about 2 fights prior it was an 8 round match. He's fought scrubs. Provo isn't even elite, he's good but he's already been outboxed by Herrera and Bradley. Everyone already knows Provo is a one trick pony that relies on his power and can be outboxed. Algieri's lucky he had that size advantage and he's going to need against Pacquiao. Don't get me wrong, Algieri's a good fighter but this is a cherry pick for Pacquiao. And it's funny how you bring Floyd up when we weren't even talking about him. That's what you need to resort to since you have nothing to add? Go start another thread or get your Pac-blinders off for a second.

No Marquez fight was a cherry pick for Pac, despite him being 38 or whatever in 2012. Bradley was not a cherry pick at any point. But Rios and Algieri are cherry picked fights. Face it, Floyd and Pac cherry pick fights.
