You should go kill yourself along with the TS...Cotto is not and was not shot. He just fights stupid - go watch the first two rounds, speed and sharpness was there but he elected to brawl with Pac and paid dearly.

I thought his post was pretty good and makes sense. People are getting carried away here with the Pacman win. It is a good solid win, but some people are acting like he beat Mosley. Cotto was more like the number 4 welterweight in the world. Yes he was champ and I give him credit, but Margarito gave him a big beating a year and a half ago, and Mosley beat Margarito.

How did Cotto beat an aggressive Mosley? By outboxing him yes? He should've done the same thing against Pacquiao and was doing a pretty good job the first two rounds.

What does Pacquiao have to do to gain some respect? Look I'm a huge Cotto fan and I hate *******s to death but Pacquiao is incredible...

Actually, a brawl and slugfest, trading shots back and forth, was a win-win situation for Cotto had he been able to respond and hit back when hit. Unfortunately, Cotto could not do this since he is no EM, JMM or MAB. He lacks that Mexican style of hit and hit back hit and hit back. But, why did he not go back to boxing with the jab when he saw he couldn't hang in there toe to toe with Pac like JMM did? Can't see why didn't go back to boxing when he saw he didn't have the chin to brawl with Pac. . .

Pacquaio is a former flyweight who just beat-up and knocked out Miguel Cotto - a prime version of arguabley the best WW in the world. It was a fantastic victory - why would you want to pick holes in it? :think

Pacquaio is the greatest fighter of this generation and perhaps the best you'll see in your lifetime, enjoy it while it lasts, instead of being bitter and cynical and trying to discredit his success.

He's had my respect for a long time, but Cotto is still a shadow of his pre-Margarito self, if this fight happened before the Margarito fight, it would have been a completely different story.

No, you cannot brawl against a guy that can take your punch (Pacquiao answered that question) and hit you at least two times before you even connect once. Cotto should've just boxed behind his jab which was effective in the early rounds. He managed to trap Pacquiao in the corner but failed to capitalize. Pacquiao was susceptible to uppercuts while in those corners and if you snap the head back with an uppercut, BAM, left hook to the head or body but Cotto did not do this.

Pacquiao can be outboxed as evidenced by the JMM fights and early rounds of the Cotto fight.

That is bull****. DeLaHoya was shot but after seeing how Pac destroyed Hatton and Cotto (both 30 years old) maybe DelaHoya wasnt so shot afterall.

Marginally over rated. Fair play to Pacquiao I thought he would get beat, so the fights weren't "gimmes" by any stretch of the imagination- however the catch weight was in his favour. There have been concerns over Cotto recently- despite his wins- much the same as there were over Jermaine Taylor when he was beating Ouma and Spinks, the signs were there that he was past his best. They picked Cotto at a ood time. I would be more impressed if he beat Moseley at 147.
