why even bother with a ******* LOL......I was gonna make the same point you did about Cotto being 138 in his last JWW fight but decided against it.

I think the results would of been the same without the gash look at the Mosley fight Clottey is a very strong fighter

I believe it had something to do with it yes. He obvisouly more comfortable at Jr Middleweight as his performances so far there have proved depite the fact some people thought he might be totally spent after the punishment he took vs Pacquiao, Clottey and Margarito in his final fights at welterweight. In also says something that he was struggling to make weight because he turned down a fight with Pacquiao at welterweight and I'm guessing Mayweather would've orginally insisted on it too.

he was kicking Margarito's ass until he broke his hand.

That fight was Clottey's to win. He let his foot off the gas late, and it cost him. BTW Isal, you're as transparent as glass...

:patsch He bruised a knuckle. This is what happens when you don't do any research, and just assume posters you like are telling the truth.

I thought Cotto win the fight, I had him winnig rounds 1,2,6,9,11 & 12, with the knockdown in round one meaning he took it 114-113 on my scorecard. The cut hindered him big time though, he would have win comfortably otherwise.

Not buying the weight theory here.

Clottey would have been a difficult assignment at 154 as well.

And the gruesome cut that obstructed his vision and allowed Joshua to land his right hand seemingly at will played an intricate role in Cotto's struggles.

This weight drained theory doesn't even hold water. Cotto weighed in at 146lbs for 5 of his fights at welterweight and even came in at 145lbs for Pacquiao. That's 6 of 9 fights where he came in under the welterweight limit. This man DID NOT have problems making weight at 147.

The only reason Cotto even moved up to 154 is because he had no where else to go after getting his ass kicked by Margarito and Pacquiao at welter.

No Cotto is def A level fighter to some style fighters. Clottey is not A level and Cotto just had a hard time because it was still early after the Margarito fight and also his camp sucked!

The reason why Cotto did so well with Mayweather was because he had an INCREDIBLE camp, he pushed even harder because he was fighting the best fighter in the world with the most amount of money he was going to get, and also his trainer came up with a very good game plan. Also Cotto felt pretty comfortable at 154 and he was on a winning streak with his confidence up.

when he lets his hands go, clottey is a pretty skilled puncher. His timing was just a lot better than Cotto's that night and his hands were faster too.

Cotto HAD A HARD TIME MAKING WEIGHT~?? WAT ABOUT CLOTTEY... Pacquiao fought Cotto at a catchweight.... But NOT Clottey.... Why~?? Perhaps its because he was struggling to make 147..

I thought Clottey won the fight.... or a draw...
