Tyson didn’t look amazing against Tucker or Smith and Rooney was still in his corner then.

Tyson might have been better under Rooney but the same flaws he had later were still there then. Tyson took the sport more seriously during the Rooney years before his arrogance made him think he could half arse it and still walk through everyone. Whether that was Rooney or Jim Jacobs or Cayton keeping him dedicated who knows? All I know is Rooney did stuff all as a trainer after Tyson (Vinny Pazinenza excepted).

Yup. Starts a thread to ask a question, then tells you you're wrong. Why ask the question then!?

Riddick Bowe was terrible against Holyfield, who had a far better right hand than him.......

Think this is about right. Tyson got away with better harder shots, he had a good chin.

You mean Bonecrusher Smith? The same Bonecrusher Smith who held onto him for dear life?

    That’s the one.

The one Tyson let hold on to him non stop because he lacked the inside game to prevent him tying him up ad nauseum and making him pay for it. If only Smith had the balls, skill and talent to hurt Tyson coming in because Mike did squat once it was in close as he always did regardless if it was Rooney, Giachetti, or Jay Bright coaching him.

Nice to see another Tyson apologist rear their head though.

Seems to me that if he had none of those things he might as well have let him hold on. There was no way he was winning the fight
    No problem
Of Foreman and Tyson's common opponents one of them was Evander, who Tyson staggered maybe once or twice at best. The other two, Stewart and Savarese, didn't last a round with Tyson whereas they went the distance with Foreman so if they say Foreman hits harder they're talking ****

Nope. This doesn't follow OP's narrative. You're automatically wrong

You're forgetting Mike Jameson who Foreman stopped in 4 as opposed to Tyson's 5. As well as Jaco who Foreman also stopped quicker.
However, all of this is meaningless to me as I don't hold much stock in who stopped who faster in a debate about punching power. Ingo knocked out Machen in 1 and Liston had to settle for a points win. I don't think anyone would argue Ingo was the harder puncher. Also, Foreman failed to stop Levi Forte while Patterson did it in two rounds.

Cus took what he learned from Dempsey into Patterson then took from Patterson into Tyson, all the generations improved over the other its usually how it works when you have the same trainer . He refined Tyson into a more compact defense and had Tyson’s own height to do this being he needed to be short to get under with the bob and weave , peekaboo style.

Wondered where the Morlocks had been lately, so he's banned again?

This one was different I believe. My understanding is that he was in an argument with another poster and it escalated.
