Pauli won by a clear landslide if you take into account the knee from Broner which caused Pauli some serious damage, He lost his sharpness and zap in the later rounds.
Broner hater here, Paulie got battered, he stole a few rounds on workrate but not a ****ing chance he won the fight, Broner was on cruise control, the kick in the balls was pretty funny though, Paulie and Broner also had a spat during the post fight interviews (again over that girl, both guys are classless ****s) and Paulie literally almost broke into tears
Broner said "I took his belt AND his girl" Malignaggi started screaming "DONT BRAG ABOUT TAKING MY SIDEPIECE!" then almost started crying, a pathetic display from both boxers, Broners ego is out of control but robbery? not a chance, only one winner
Is this poll seriously saying 26-24 in favour of Paulie? I absolutely despise Broner but he won that fight and you're blind if you think otherwise
No robbery. Broner just edged it out. A draw can be made for case. Broner was auspicious to not get the point deducted. Come on, that knee to the abdomen was shocking behavior. 115-113 Broner. Broner with a point deducted results in a draw.
Who has Paulie ever beaten? a shopworn Juan Diaz and Senchenko? EVERYBODY else at world level has kicked the **** out of him, he is not world class and don't say "but if he had power" yeah look back at his pathetic performance against Ricky Hatton and tell me if power would have helped him there, even the HBO commentators were like "wow Paulie is really **** and he should be thanking his management that he got this far" being world class means you can hang at world level, not get constantly beaten up at world level
He's fought world class fighters, whether he's beaten them or not is another matter. Ricky is 30 and still hasn't stepped into the ring with anyone you can consider world class. A massive difference.
You can't give the decision to broner off the back of being the better fighter you have to be the better fighter during those specific 12 rounds. I know what broner is capable of I just didn't see enough of it last night to make me think he won clearly. You can win a fight off reputation and potential you have to actually perform
it's not another matter, you said he's world class but he has always lost at world class, world class fighters win at world level
He beat Senchenko who was the holder of the world title? Let me guess, Senchenko isn't world class? Either way not sure why you are arguing semantics? Paulie has got in with the best and lost, Ricky's never had the guts to do it.
Broner. If you just look at the basics of a fight then many people will go "Paulie threw alot", but when you look at the demeanour, damage, who was bossing the fight then the edge on a number of occassions go to Broner. Broner fought within himself, Malignaggi couldn't fight any other way. Malinaggi was brave but Broner underperformed.
Is Vyacheslav Senchenko really world class? What, because he held the WBA? Didn't Gavin Rees once hold that version of a belt? was he world class? shall we analyze Senchenkos world class record? You know that isn't even necessary. And who mentioned Ricky? This is about weither Paulie is world class or not, and I'm just saying he isn't Paul Malignaggi is a pet peeve of mine, everybody goes on about "If Paulie had power" "Paulie is world class" Paulie talks a massive game then always ends up getting his arse handed to him, the beatings he took at the hands of Khan and Hatton were embarrassing, yet Khan and Hatton have their records and credibility torn apart on these forums at every opportunity but all Paul Malignaggi gets is excuse after excuse just because he's "a good talker"
For me personally Paulie gets a ride a lot of the time as the problems with his hands have always hindered his career. You are right in that he gets a comparatively easy ride but that happens with boxers at all sorts of weight divisions. Froch's career is constantly being picked apart on here, yet I'm not sure what much more the lad could have done? If he's not world class he is at the immediate level underneath.
