Was Pavlik really 111 degrees four days before the Hopkins fight?

How can we even say our countries are good/better?

Both countries have killed thousands and thousands for effective control over other areas for no reason other than greed. Hang our heads in shame.

I don't care if it was invented by a somoan midget. It is the one we currently employ and choose to use, and strongly encourage you to follow suit. Strongly meaning we don't want to have to invade you. Weve invaded countries for sillier stuff then this believe me.

is that sarcastic? i have no idea, if that is true, it would slightly downgrade hopkins' victory.

He was outclassed and had no answer for everything Hopkins brought, that's the reason he lost, don't believe all the excuses. He already used the weight as an excuse immediately after the fight and that should be enough, adding any more shows he's not recovering from the loss.

the normal body temperature is 97 to 98 degree, above 104 and you are life threatening above 106 is the temperature that brain death starts and above 113 and you are going to die very soon.

so if pavlik was at 111 then there is no way he would be given permission to fight he would be in hospital on his death bed.

agree, bhop shocked the world by beating a fight 4-1 favorite...and that is the reason he is top 3 p4p now...but the 111 degrees and 16 pounds weight difference shocked me...give credit to pavlik team, they did not sensationalized that

Yes, it was sarcastic. Kelly wasn't 111 degrees and nor was his back broken.

Bull**** he did have a broken back, but he wrestled 13 doctors out of the way to get out of intensive care. He is a warrior.

BHop is a great fighter but has he beaten a great fighter yet not having to move up in weight? I mean we all know he beat the smaller Tito, Oscar & Pavlik. We all know he lost to similar sized men in Calzaghe, Taylor*2 & RJJ...That leaves Tarver which was a good win.

111 degrees or not, its irrelevant. Styleswise, Pavlik just wont beat the much craftier Hopkins.

I think the 111 degrees is just bull**** to be honest, the 16 pound weight difference is true but that's them talking about weight difference immediately after the fight. Even Hopkins told Pavlik that he should stick at middleweight as he's still undefeated there. It's not Hopkins' fault Pavlik's team wanted a fight with Calzaghe so bad that they moved up and looked to make an impression against Hopkins(previous Calzaghe opponent).
