Was Pavlik really 111 degrees four days before the Hopkins fight?

Pavlik's is the funniest BY FAR, he makes all the rest look honest. He was in there with a fever of 111 degrees. I know losing to a man as old as his father in brutal one-sided fashion is embarrassing but coming up with that excuse?, priceless.

Scar, my man, I can understand why you bust on a lot of fighters.....seeing who some of your fave's seem to be, but 1) I can't figure out for the life of me why you bust Pav's balls so hard all the time, and 2) why an intelligent person such as your self keeps on with the "111" thing when it's been said tons of times it was a TYPO!

Seriously though, #1 is the answer I'd most like to hear. Was it JT? I being honest just don't get it. You don't have to respond if you don't want to, just I have respect for your post on just about everything on this board...EXCEPT..your always busting on Pavlik.

PS...please don't reply with the answer being "this excuse", because you been bustin' on Pav for a long time before this.

I like Taylor VERY much too, he's #2 only to Pavlik, but thanks for the honest answer, and I'll take your "shots' with a pinch of salt from now on.:good

    Good man, Scar.:yep

PS....JT's gettin ready to take over again anyways, only a couple weeks to go and he'll have that new Green Strap, and the sky's the limit from there.

    Go Taylor!!!!!!:good:good

    Cheers man.

Let me tell you though, Taylor didn't look too good to me against Lacy and I'll admit I'm very worried about the Froch fight.

Before the fight, as Pavlik was wrapping his hands, I noticed the way Pavlik looked, it looked like he had been crying. I thought, "what the heck is that?" I believe he was sick. I think he looked sick, and its sad that we couldn't see a fight with a healthier Pavlik. Well, its life and it happens and you have to move on, and come back stronger than ever. Cotto needs to do that too.

I try to let the "Lacy is JT's friend" idea over ride my feelings on that one too.

I feel really good about JT chances in this fight, he's gonna win, no worries my man.

I'm a tell you though. JT had been pretty much my fave for a long time, but then I found out about the "local-ish" fighter from Y-Town, got to watchin' his fights, liked his style and all that and just for home area reasons he took the UNO spot. (I'm in WV so I could either pick a close by Ohio Bad Ass, or Jeremy "the Beast" Bates :)lol::rofl:lol::rofl)).

Anyways, when it came time for JT and Pav part 1, I was SO ****in' tore up about it, I called into work on the Friday before the fight, and was so nerve wrecked I had my kid and dogs "hidin'" out from my loony ass, cause I was torn bad!!!! I cheered for Pavlik, but felt horrible once the reality of seeing JT slumped in the corner set in.....then his post fight interview in the locker room with Merchant damn near brought this grown man to tears.

JT is gettin' ready to get HIS. JT will shine again, and me, you, boo, and Hermit to name a few will be some HAPPY mo' fo's once again!!:deal:good

111, as many have said, would make him dead. Must be a typo. Hell, if you are at 104, you're ****ed w/o care.

Man, I felt like absolute **** after his loss to Pavlik for one week, hated the thought of even watching a fight to be honest especially with all the ******s riding Pavlik's nuts.

To be honest I just think Taylor got too much too early, one fight with Hopkins and he won everything, literally in just one night. Then came the rematch and after his fight with Winky he just went into "care bear" mode with his really pathetic performances against Ouma and Spinks. Hell, I had Spinks beating him that night to be honest and I don't know if you'll agree or think I'm crazy but I honestly had Spinks winning. I just knew that sooner or later Taylor would run into something scary and the same night he fought Spinks we saw Pavlik/Miranda I knew right there that this could be Taylor's future opponent and IF it was it's going to be a nightmare. Taylor has the ability to beat him to be honest and in the rematch he proved it but that hunger he once had just wasn't there and still isn't for some unknown annoying reason. Even in his fight with Lacy he looked really bad and because it was Lacy he was able to escape with a win.

Just hoping he gets it done with Froch so we can celebrate and discuss more of him like in the past, now that would be something. Though I have my doubts and know deep down inside your heart too there are doubts but trying your best to hide them as a loyal fan(likewise). Just praying Taylor proves otherwise and delivers, Froch shouldn't be one to worry about in my opinion but with Taylor's recent fights one can't be sure.

Both of us will be expecting a Taylor victory and HOPE it's an impressive one. GO JERMAIN!
