There was Williams, Sturm and some up and coming middleweights for him to fight in 2009, but he didn't fight any of them :deal

Oh yeah, the super 6 is just a load of washed up bums fighting over meaningless belts, while Pavlik sidestepped it so he could defend against ATGs like Gary Lockett, Rubio and Espino.

Let's hope he actually fights these fighters. If he wins, he starts to redeem himself.

No I don' think that Pavlik was right about Super 6.. There is less money in the preliminary rounds, but the fighters who make it to the semis or even to the final will make mucho $$$...

Pavlik has no business dissing the super six tournament whatsoever, in my opinion. But I don't see how anybody is dissing Pavlik for taking a fight out of his weight class twice, once for a rematch with a guy he beat and once with an ATG, still p4p and in his own turf, then nearly dying and taking a mandatory before going back to elite level fighters.

He might be right about that whole burned out thing. At first I thought it would only be a single elimination thing...and then it turned out to be a whole ordeal where you have to fight 3 times and then a brackets tournamet starts where you'll be exposed to more punishment before you get to win the whole thing. Whoever wins this will be whiped out and badly battered by such a strenuous diet of facing world class fighter after world class fighter. It's a tough tournament, no doubt about it.

So according to you being "wear and teared" and "money" is more of a positive and favorable then builing up a resume, recognition and fame fighting 4 or 5 of the top ten SMW's?:-(

If he did say those things then I suspect Hopkins took more out of his sails than I originally thought.
