    I was reviled when I boxed, but I died a hero outside the rind...Who was I ?

    jg ,yes AL Bummy Davis, died a hero chasing 4 robbers who shot him.with bullets in him he kod one guy, than chased one robber out of the bar, where he was fatally shot in the neck..Died a hero...
    I saw him in a restaurent about 3 weeks before his death..
    Davis had the best left hook I ever saw...Tough SOB...
