Like this quote from Philly Jack " he wore flaming red shorts and a smirk, mind you he could back it up, the kid was raw, but courageous and tough, through the first 8 rounds he was covered in blood, from his nose to his knees, I couldn't miss him with my jab, but boy could he take it, then in the last couple of rounds I started to tire, then he started to come on, it was hell on earth when he started doing his shift , like I say fighters are like flowers, they bloom then the fade, my days were over , he was in his prime " who was he ? keep well.

Ok Bit, try this one " maybe all the WW in the top ten could beat me, but I know I can beat him, because he delivers to my delight " keep well.

Tough one. It must be an aggressive fighter, but that's most of the early Welterweights. Tommy Ryan had long left WW behind when O'Brien fought him. It doesn't explicitly mean it was one he fought, so it could be Mysterious Billy Smith, or Rube Ferns. He fought Tommy West too.

But I'll go for Joe Walcott.

It was tough matey no shame in not getting it, the fighter was Fritzie Zivic in reference to Armstrong, what he meant by that quote was ( I think ) Henry would walk onto Zivics counters and get hurt, which is how the fight panned out, Zivic was almost unapparelled in fighting up close on the inside, ask Conn, LaMotta, and lots of MW he manhandled. keep well.
