The way he says it, looks to me like he's saying that those 2 have the best combination of skill and power. I don't see it though.

At his prime, Tyson was a great combination puncher.

you have to add Bruno to any list of all time great power punchers that may have hit harder than Tyson.Bruno the only guy to stagger Mcall which he did a few times even hurting him with a jab.Hes also the only guy to hurt Tyson with a single punch.Tyson was knocked out by Lewis,Douglas etc but they were after systematic punnishment.

certainly some people thought so...i saw one 60 sec video on youtube

    Greatest hits, as it were,

and he had a guy bouncing around in a corner

looked like he hit the REF too.

    kinda like a shark attack

its tyson's blistering speed that sets him apart from the other heavies in the power department...

Shavers was the hardest puncher ever.

Tyson was a combination of speed and power.

How can a list mention Morrison, Marciano etc but no mention of Frank Bruno's right hand? I'd bet you my whole scrotum it was harder than anything Morrison could throw.

Heavys have different body types which has a bearing on the power they generate with certain shots.Bruno certainly had a harder jab than Morrison and right hand too but the left hook is Morrison no question.Morrisons left hook was probably the single biggest one punch hook ever in the heavy division. It was a perfect punch which he was able to generate maximum torque behind and when it landed clean he not only koed guys but knocked them unconcious as he did with Ruddock.

Spot on! Holmes did say that, and you would have to respect his opinion above all the conjecture. Although he went on to beat Shavers, he was in his prime, unlike the Tyson loss.

I see it's the 'in thing' to say Tyson didn't have incredible punch power, it was more devastating combos.

Well in all seriousness can we stop this bull**** now because the truth is he had both, he had the combos and in his prime he was most definitely one of the hardest hitters there has ever been - don't let anyone tell you different.

When he was on his game, everyone was just watching for that split second, that is all it took, to land the big one. He was so dam fast!

tyson had a better left hook than morrison . he knocked out carl williams with one left hook where as morrison had to hit williams with it all nite with it to knock him.

Id say no, he was very powerful but Shavers and Foreman were both much bigger punchers.
