Was Primo Carnera the most technicaly adept superheavyweight of all time?

    While Wlad has some nice moves I do feel that he rather lacks an inside game.

    I've been watching alot more of Primo and I think you might be on to something here even though I still don't agree with the premise of thread.

    His inside game is pretty good for a big man.

    Primo was diabetic and his losses to Baer and Luis were particulary nasty.
    Heynes punched hard and Primo and his managment undestimate him..Primo lost. In a incredible display of stupidity Soresi signed for a rematch very early, before Primo was fully recoved and, like Shaft, Primo suffering a brain trombosys .
    His career his over, after that he cannot fight at high levels anymore.

    paul galico wrote very well but was not "boxing people" max schmeling was unbiased and "boxing people". carnera has been rubished but its either sour grapes from fighters or sesationalistic artistic lisence from writers who never boxed. even if the truth is in the middle carnera had enough substance to be a world champion during a very good era.
