He was tiring and had been down in the previous round but he was still a mile ahead on the scorecards. It seemed to me as if he was regaining his composure right as the late Fritz Sdunek motioned for the ref to stop the fight. All Wlad had to do was stay on his feet for the next 5 mins, IMO Sdunek jumped the gun on that stoppage.

I think the corner actually did that at almost exactly the right moment. Wlad was running on fumes.

Wald could have sustained serious injury had the fight continued

Big time. Purrity wasn't given the chance to knock Wlad out for the 10 count.

Wlad pulled himself together only a second or two before they waved it off- they could not of known. It was good for Wlad. He dominated every second of that fight until he gassed at the end of the 10th. He didn't get hurt. A rematch was pointless. The fight wasn't competitive and it turned out to be a learning experience to not throw punches with the volume of a lightweight if you 6'6 245lbs. Watch Wlad in that fight his volume and movement is insane for a man his size.

He pulled himself together while Purrity was beating on his head? So why wasn't he able to punch back?
He took about 30 un-answered punches within 15 seconds of the 11th round. He was DONE. They knew. We knew.. You don't know.
It simply wasn't. Only in Kliturd universe is a stoppage loss a good thing.

He didn't dominate the 9th , 10th or 11th. Its called winning exchanges dumfuk and Purrity won plenty of them during the fight. Gassing was the result of the other guy beating on him. Nobody gasses out on their own free will. Do you have any clue how this sport works? You obviously never stepped foot in a ring and felt the pain of a tap to the body in your entire life.

For Purrity it wasn't. He WON.. Wlad ended up being battered from pillar to post , dropped and eventually stopped. His fight with Peter was competitive. His fight with Purrity was a comprehensive beat down stoppage LOSS. How many fights have you ever watched ?? Less then 10? Im willing to bet they were all Klitschko.

Great fighters can come away with a learning experience while still obtaining the win.
Wlad was NOT '245' against Purrity, he was 224.

Sanders was heavier when he out boxed and out lasted Purrity over 12 rounds. But we all know Sanders was light years better than Wlad.

Tommy Morrison was 226 when he stuck n moved against George Foreman all night long. Not Foreman or Purrity could take Morrison out.

Tyson Fury was 255 lbs when he engaged in 3 mins/12 rounds of non stop combat with Chisora in only his 15th pro fight. Why didn't Fury gas out against a much more active and aggressive Chisora?

At 250 he moved around the ring like a welter the night he toyed with and made Wlad look like an utter fool. At the same point Fury was dismantling the dominate champ , Wlad was being dismantled by Purrity. Both of them were at 24 fights into their careers.
What Fury done would have been like Wlad boxing circles around Lennox Lewis. In reality the notion of Wlad ever facing Lewis back then was totally inconceivable.. A pie dream. Was never , ever going to happen.

Purrity battering Wlad isn't some fluke out of the ordinary occurrence. Wlad was just an ordinary HW and it was proven multiple more times during his career.
Everything you typed in that post was pure syphilis.
