Tim Tszyu would've sparked Hatton I don't think Hatton beat that many great fighters but yes Tyzsu was 1.
Hatton would've sparked Khan. Brook Hatton is their peak wouldv'e been better. Shame we never got to see Hatton with the likes of Cotto, Margarito, DLH, Bradley, Mosley etc
Completely agree, I think his downfall was sometimes he could over commit and be left open to a lot of counters. I loved his aggression and heart, same stable and traits as Nigel Benn.
Very good fighter, in his prime he had excellent stamina and punch out put and a vicious body shot, after the Tyszu fight his weight gaining in-between fights cost him and he started clinching a lot more and looking tired early on. ultimately a shell. He had no business at Welterweight but at 140lbs he was a beast.
Hatton was a top fighter, his downfall was going into every camp massively overweight. Look at him in the videos a week before a fight, he’s pasty white/gaunt/cold sores etc he always badly treated his body.
I'm sure I read Hatton was offered Cotto right after the zab fight iirc Could have dreamt it but pretty certain
Welterweight i get, everybody at junior welterweight? I dont think so. The Hatton that beat Tszyu beats them all, and that includes Lopez.
