Someone stated on a thread that Ray`s team ducked fighters with a good jab and this vid backs that up, at the start of the vid there`s a brilliant summary of how Basilio out jabbed Ray in their first fight by jabbing upwards and using hjis shoulder to protect his chin as he jabbed, LaMotta also out jabbed Robi in their final bout before being stopped, so was this one of the few sweaknesses that this great fighter had? Apologies to Blackcloud.
A great jab can carry a fighter a very long way, Prime example ,Larry Holmes . The rest of Holmes weapons were pretty ordinary. But his jab elevated him from good, to great.
Trump made a comment that kn ife crime is so bad in London that the city is more dangerous than New York now during his controversial visit to London, his comments didn`t endear him to Londoners at all.
Basilio lost to Robi in the rematch too it was the fact that he was jabbing upwards that botyherred Ray so much in the first fight and LaMotta jabbed from a crouch also.
I think Robbi was vulnerable to great fighters.... they seem like the only ones who could best him. Even when they couldn't, people seem to be overjoyed they could beat him in a specific area (jab) and still lose.
They say I post too much and they don`t like me bashing Roy so now I`m only going to post one question per week.
