Power lasted well from round one through fifteen .
It seems as the fight when on longer rocky got stronger.
Never seen him gas in a fight.
Through punches even in they landed or not.

Was Rockys engine the best in heavyweight history ?.

Any other heavyweight you think had a better engine?

He's up there. I'd include Prime Holyfield, Klitschko brothers, Frazier, Norton and probably a prime Ali. Ali dancing for so many rounds is a different type of stamina. As is Holyfield's high valume combinations and constant movement

The Klitschkos definitely do not deserve a mention

Jeffries, Frazier and Sullivan are those whom I'd class in the A tier of stamina with Marciano

Though Marciano himself I'd class as the on A+

Oh yes. When Frazier got him self in to that groove, there was no stopping him

They do, they're arguably number 1 and 2. They're incredible fit, the amount of punches they threw in their prime combined with their movement is second to none

What Marciano does in fighting flat footed actually uses less energy than a boxer bouncing on his toes.

Wlad has had stamina issues his whole career... AND doesn't throw many punches.

Wlad gassed within 5 if he didn't completely control the pace and move it to a standstill

Rocky's stamina though impressive may have been flattered by the fact that he was often fighting older, shop worn opponents.

I honestly don’t know how anyone would pick the Klitschko’s.

It must be right up there.

A swarmer by definition, has to work much harder than nay other kind of fighter, in order to nullify them.

A swarmer will not be successful without an exceptional engine, never mind great.
