Even the greatest boxers (SRR, Ali, Pep, etc. etc.) had bad rounds and bad fights. Floyd took two big shots from Shane and got through the round to dominate from then on. That's what atg champs do.

One of his best moments. He took the biggest shots from the biggest puncher at welterweight, took them, fought back and dominated afterwards. Great moment.

Never been stunned as much but he had worse rounds overall in the past. Let's not forget that after Mosley landed the 2 big punches, Floyd weathered the storm and then took control of the last part of the 2nd round.

well it has been hasn't it.

Though obviously a fighter's worst round is not exactly the measure of his ability.

Also, I think Mosley topped that 7th round against Castillo.

well...if you believe mosleys round was better...id say the same thing....and id say floyd showed ALOT more in that round agains mosley than he did against jlc

i also might disagree on what you said about a fighters worst round being a measure of his ability....id say...if those two rounds are your biggest indictment against floyd...hes got a pretty good case

  13. Until the last 15 seconds I would've scored that round for Floyd tbh.

i would agree...and while castillo took the last 15 seconds, and it was probably enough to win the round, it wasnt that big....it wasnt enough to wow me in the least bit...dunno about you all

Zab put him on the mat. The sorry ref took that from Super Judah. FMJ still pulled through. Zab Judah has been the most competitive fight at WW so far for FMJ. Props to Zab. Even more props to FMJ for coming through like the champion he is.
