Was Round 2 of Mayweather-Mosley the worst round of Floyd's career?

Floyd came back strong in that round so i would have to say no.

However I do believe the 2nd bomb mosley landed on mayweather was the biggest punch anyone has ever landed on floyd in his career.

the mosley round just insured my belief that none of these dudes out now can beat him.. Nobody else but mosley with his hand speed, reach and power could threaten floyd's defense like that. He adjusted in the same round and dominated.

You're assuming Mosley's abilities were present the whole fight and they weren't. While Floyd's a great fighter, it was clear that Mosley's mouth was hanging open after the second round and he failed to press the advantage as he began to severely lessen his punch output. Being 38 and having two training camps back to back for sixteen weeks for one fight It's not like Mosley came out ready to finish the job or lay some more leather and was taken aback by some magic trick Floyd did. The bell rang, and he couldn't pull the trigger, and for ten more rounds he ate right hands as he sat there feinting unable to get off his punches.

If Mosley was gased Floyd would of applied the pressure and stopped him. Mosley had his second best hoorah in the 12th round. What you are saying is complete bull****. Its a difference between physical fatigue and mental fatigue. He could not pull the trigger b/c the target was not there anymore you dumb ass know nothing simple minded pacquiao shits. On top of he got punched in the face when he opened up. Counter punching does that to you. Every fighter Floyd has fought STOPPED letting their hands go mid way through the fight. ODH, Judah, Marquez, Mosley, Corrales could never get off, Gatti could never get off, Castillo in the second fight could not close out at the end of the fight. And pretty much everyone else punch output dropped or was non existent at the end. I think you truly need to STFU and get back to the basics. It was lack of adjustment and confidence. Mosley's confidence dropped to 0 after he landed two of his best hardest shots and Floyd still stood right there and came back and ****ed him up.

Floyd got dinged, that's for sure, but honestly he came back to win the rest of the round.

Aside from that ruthless chopping right hand that Floyd eats at the end of the round, I don't think that was such a terrible round. Definitely not in the category with Mosley Round 2.

Bingo. The "Mosley gassed out" myth is right up there with "De La Hoya 'forgot' to use his jab" myth. Both are laughable.

Either that or one of the rounds from the 1st Castillo fight. Shane hurt Floyd much more than Castillo did, but Shane didn't have it in him to sustain the pressure, and lost momentum before the 3 minutes was up, whereas JLC beat Floyd for the duration and emerged a clear winner.

After due consideration, I'd say yes round 2 of Mosley-Mayweather was Floyd's worst. Never before had we seen the Pretty Boy clinging to someone like a dying orphan to avoid being knocked out.
