Was Roy a great boxer or just one of the fastest reflex to step in the ring?

Anyone that thinks that RJJ never had it hard has never come across Big Roy. His old man was a beast of a trainer - RJJ was born a great athlete, he was born with certain potential attributes that were honed through years upon years of training like most of us couldn't possibly dream of undertaking. What he lacked in boxing 'skills' he more than made up for in his athleticism that was honed through blood, sweat and tears.

Yes, RJJ wasn't a great boxer fundamentally, but in his prime, he was pretty much unbeatable.
