    Nah.

Plodding forward, following your opponent around the ring, and allowing him to initiate the punching can't be classified as effective aggression. Provo allowed the play to be taken from him, or simply had the play taken from him on too many occasions for this to considered a robbery, or even a gift.

I can see Black fans don't like Provodnikov .

By looking at all the names that voted no , Those are more than the majority .

    Interesting... I wonder why ?

Absolutely not. It was a clear and rightful victory.

Provodnikov fought the same way from start to finish and it was mostly ineffective. Algieri landed at will and adjusted well after the battering he took in the first round. The sport is boxing. That kid has serious talent.

I hate when people mention the boxing press as some kind of indication of what's right and wrong. They've shown time and time again that the majority of them don't fully understand the sport they're watching.

It was NOT a close fight if u preferred the damaging L hooks and OH Rs landed and effective aggresion of Ruslan.
Best score would be 116-110 in favor of Ruslan

If u preferred backpedaling and pitter pat jabs tripled up followed by a dodge dip and a run.......i mighta scored it a draw or by 1-2 ppt to algeria..

I had it for Ruslan BUT it was NO ROBBERY..... its just sad that Floyd is finally preparing to leave us, and a new duck n dodge star is been born.

Man it is what it is.

Like Ruslan said fuk the titles, it is about to give a good fight and leave everyting in the ring.

He will be back on exciting fight, I quarantee that. He might not win titles or anything major anymore but he will be back and give another great fight.:deal

Do you mean that close rounds should always go to champion?

    Hell Yes .

Everyone wants to sh#t on Ruslan now , acting as if he was completely shutout . GO RIGHT AHEAD .

Provodnikov is still an animal , Algeri right eye will tell you that .

I love the fact that Ruslan don't give a damn about titles . He doesn't think like the typical fighter .

Hes a unique animal , that's what he is :yep

Did anyone else notice that every time Algieri snapped Provo's head back the commentators said absolutely nothing, but every time Provo landed a grazing shot, they went nuts? Provo had a case, yes, but 114-112 Algieri was a good score.

Provo is like Rios, in that staying undefeated or only having a loss or two, won't really affect his marketability. He's an exciting, honest fighter. Titles don't make good fights, nor do records.

He'll win other titles..... just depends how he's matched. Let him have a couple tuneups vs Holt or Madaina...maybe JSK, Berto or Ortiz.....then he could easily bang out wins vs Porter, Vargas, Broner....more stationary types.

    Rios is punchy b4 he's 30.....

Provo comes in bobbing like Frazier......Rios comes at ya face forward eating shots before throwing.
They get similar results but Provo could contend late into his 30s.....Rios will be getting TKOd by the likes of Allakverdiev, Algeria, and Peterson n the next couple yrs.
