forget all the bizarre **** around it. all the allegations and corruption, and how it ended. do u think it was a good fight? and how did u score it??
it was entertaining i suppose. sbw won the first 7-8 rounds. i just didn't expect sbw to look as good as he did. but that was helped by botha being a little passive and looking for the big ko punch.
Giving Sonny Bill Williams his dues it was fairly impressive performance for an inexperienced guy. But in light of everything we've seen and heard, it's hard to take anything that occurred either inside or outside the ring very seriously.
..Sonny has just gotta tuck that chin in abit more...and keep developin' a ramrod jab.. ..that should be his number one priority goin' forward..nothin' else.. ..and go back to guys with similar experience..forget about bein' the main event for a while.. ..and from what i've seen of the fight..yes..awesome effort by SBW..:thumbsup
it was just your usual run of the mill boxing match but the last round was one of the most enthralling ive seen for a while now. if you watch the fight again have a look at the crowd and the corners. theres virtually nobody sitting.. it was awesome stuff
Sonny Bill did well for his limited experience, exceptionally well when you consider boxing isn't even his number one priority, so my hat goes off to him for his athletic ability alone. Was a bit worrying though to think that this is the way boxing is heading in Australia, it's not like people go to watch the "fights" anymore, they are more interested in "gala'" events that showcase crossover athletes. With the exception of a handful of top flight boxers in this country the average punter is more keen in following Footy players/boxers. God help us all if UFC/MMA starts an junior/amateur competition in this country.
Unlike yourself and wide open anus, i actually go out and converse with other members of the public :yep
