Why is signing with Al Haymon a bad decision? A lot of fighters sign with Al Haymon and I don't hear anyone complaining about their financial situation.
He turned down $1.4 million (easily a career high payday). Also relinquished his title, only to challenge for it in his next fight AFTER TURNING DOWN $1.4 MILLION! We are talking about a guy who was homeless.
Well Peter stated in an interview (USA Today) that a big part of the reason he turn down 1.4 million dollars was because of the birth of son plus he loss his uncle. I'm not if that that was the truthful reason or that he was ducking Matvey Korobov.
Eh....prob not better ......but I'd prob say in par....one is hailed as a hero and the other a ducking bum....and we all know why People are making fun of quillin for turning down the Korobov fight now.....like they were for Stevenson for ducking kovalev......yet Stevenson may still get that fight while making some good money in the meantime......and quillin is gonna fight a guy who knocked Korobov out......al is doing just fine by his fighters
still seems a bad choice for quillin not to fight korobov he prolly woulda knocked him out like lee. n now this i hate wen fighters dont make weight
