All this talk about Floyd being so big...

Floyd walked down Canelo and Mosely but against Pac? was running for 12 rounds and against an injured Pac! not only this, his connect % was lower than his career average, which probably meant 1. Pac wasn't easy to hit and/or 2. Floyd was cautious when he threw, Pac kept him honest

Mayweather's size was pretty much a non-factor, Pacquiao actually looked stronger and with the heavier punches. Reach did play some part, but not strength or weight. Floyd's punches had no power to them, as always. To me, Floyd looked like the more fragile of the two, just with longer reach. This looked like Hagler - Hearns.

He felt Pac had power he even said after the fight the reason why Pac is so successful was because people walked him down he said he had to box him

Pac's shoulder was the biggest factor

Size was absolutely a factor. Every single time they bumped into each other at close quarters, Pac was sent flying backwards like a pinball. Floyd is physically strong as hell. Plus Floyd's length along w/ running made it even more difficult for Pac to close the distance.

    Yes.

Nop, reach was a factor but that will always be the case.

lie, Pac pushed him to the ropes several times and Floyd escaped but he never overpowered Pac, he couldn't even walk him down! I heard a lot of you claim Floyd was gonna walk the little man down and knock him out. Instead, we saw Floyd running more than ever, even more than when he fought Maidana! and his punches did little damage.

I'm not saying he overpowered or walked through Pac... I'm saying that whenever they came together, Pac was sent flying.

reach was a factor but how do we know how much of factor given we know Pac was injured?

what is undeniable is that Floyd didn't act like the bigger stronger man. He was able to walk down Canelo! a huge WW but not Pac! He RAN and RAN and RAN... Why is that?

because he didn't feel like the stronger man with the heavier punches. Sure, he tried to use his reach, in particular to get jabs in but if he truly felt like the stronger man, he would've walked Pac down and tried to hurt him. Instead, he ran, danced and was afraid to do what Floyd Sr was telling him to do. He was probably shocked at how strong the little man was and how hard he hit. Floyd Sr was screaming at him 'DO THIS, DO THAT, THROW COMIBATIONS' but something Pac did SCARED Floyd.

Everything comes into play, fact is, Pacquiao is just not in Floyd's league.

    round 4 no?

but you all have to admit that Floyd didn't look like the stronger, more powerful man. Trust me, if Floyd would've felt stronger, he would've walked Pac down and tried to hurt him more. He was, instead, very defensive and afraid to throw combinations like his dad was pleading with him to do.

I'm not saying reach wasn't a factor because the jab was used very effectively BUT i'm talking purely about strength, punching. Pac looked freaking strong, thick and i didn't see any evidence that Floyd felt like he was the more powerful, stronger man. I never saw Floyd with that type of confidence. Let me repeat, floyd walked down Canelo from round 1, why didn't he do it vs Pac? Something he didn't like...
