Roasting is a bit different to genuinely disliking though.
How is disliking someone's nationality any different than disliking someone's skin colour?

The word RACISM in 2021 doesnt even mean the same thing as it did 20 years ago.

I've never seen a shred of evidence Steve was remotely racist. He had a temper though.
Long after he retired Steve did get into a row with a foreign bouncer at the national stadium in Dublin, but the guy was eastern European. Guy didn't know who Steve was....found out the hard way. Taking on Collins in a streetfight is not a wise move, for anyone.

Collins still owns Eubank. In & out of the ring.

The guy was injured a bit as I recall. He was bigger obviously, but Steve turned him inside out. Very hard man, Collins. Case went to court. Guy came back to Ireland for the case (he'd left the country). Attempt to prosecute Steve for assault etc failed. Whole thing was an incredibly unfortunate misunderstanding really. Bouncer was actually a fairly nice guy just "doing his job", and they clashed.
