You will take a bashing because you deserve to be bashed. He would spark ANY active WW prime now. ANY.
Pac is underrated. Floyd is overrated. If Manny was black people would be bowing down to him on this site at about a rate of 90% of all the members. Like I said I was young watching SRL and was asking the opinion of the members here who could help me understand better. I believe from the opinons of certain members I look up to that SRL was not overrated. People don't read they scan and love to bash right away. If you think Pac is overrated I feel bad for you.
You are a moron. If Pac is underrated drug test him. Nobody gives a damn what Manny's race is. Manny could barely stop Marquez or Barrera and it took him longer to drop Diaz than it took Holt. Now he is shattering faces of guys at 154? Give me a break! SRL had all the "slickness" and speed of a Pure Boxer, the punching power of a Boxer Puncher, and the killer instinct of a brawler. Leonard was the complete package. Don't feel bad for us. Feel bad for Pac's liver, kidneys, and the boxing history books that Pac cooked. :deal
Barely stop Marquez ? Who went down in the last fight and who never touched the canvas? Manny got the ATG chants going once he stepped up 140 and above. We have seen bradley and Jmm step up and they look like journeymen. Manny hasn't lost a lick at WW. According to you Cotto is a much better WW then Floyd as PBF took longer to take out every single common opponent. Cotto knocked out guys that put Floyd on the canvas.
I didn't say he was, but a bigger case can be made for Pac than Leonard, I'll tell you that much. Pac has not fought opponents who had anywhere near the skill level of Sugar Ray's opponents, and yet you feel he's overrated. I don't get it.:huh
Beating Tommy Hearns at a weight he was nearly invincible, solving the defensive puzzle of Benitez and making Duran quit is enough to be considered an ATG. BUT... The guy got a gift decisition against Hagler. A gift draw against Hearns in the rematch, and drained Donnie Lalonde to fight for 2 titles in differente weight divisions. Then comitted a serious mistake by boing down again to 154 to get destroyed by Norris. And then got KTFO like a bum by ****ING HECTOR CAMACHO!!!! I don´t think he´s a top 10 ATG. Not even top 15. Also, he was the first boxer with that "bigger than the sport" attitude, and also the first who changed rules for his benefit.
The guy is a little man and has Floyd Mayweather saying he is too good to be real. He has eyed Floyd since he started fighting in Vegas. Think it is a coincidence he has moved up in weight and trained to gradually to step up to the weight class Floyd is King ? Destroying ODLH, Cotto, Margarito, Clottey and beating Morales, Barerra, JMM the way he did is as good as it gets for a guy who started out below 110 lbs as a pro.
Yeah. He didn't crack his skull. Mosley knocked Margo spark out and didn't crack his skull. Chants? Yes, chants that unlike EVERY OTHER NORMAL fighter it is harder as you move up, but Manny is better. Really? Manny is "special" but so special he turns down fights over drug testing? You see what is wrong with this picture? Hatton, exposed. ODLH, skeleton. Cotto, exposed. Clottey, paid off? Margarito, exposed. And idiot like you is talking knockouts? Stop clown. Styles make fights. Pac is overrated and most likely a PED cheat. Leonard isn't overrated.
Clown. Manny is most likely a cheat ? He is tested the same or more than any fighter today and never failed. He has a coach who just works on his diet food, strength conditioning in addition to his work ethic which everyone that has worked with him agrees is the best in the biz + freddie roach. Nothing whatsoever indicated PEDs. Problem is Floyd still thinks he is in the olympics.
Yeah what a featherfisted amateur [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpcznXrArR0[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A3Jefm2s81Q[/ame] [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tivNM_wADzA[/ame]
Even if he got a gift against Hagler, the fact remains is that he fought extremely well against one of the five best middleweights to have ever set foot inside the ring, and made the fight close enough for him to steal. Pretty impressive given that he was naturally smaller, and had only one fight in the previous five years. The Norris fight was light years removed from his time and the lacklustre efforts that he produced in his two previous fights (Hearns II and Duran III) bear that fact out. The Camacho fight was six years after the Norris fight, against a fighter who had remained active throughout that entire decade. It means as much as the losses that other all-time greats like Robinson suffered at the tail end of their career...(I.e. Not very much at all). You said it yourself...The work he did at welterweight, against one of the deepest divisions there ever was, makes him one of the division's very best fighters, and stamps his place in my Top 15, and could slide him into the lower echelon of my Top 10 depending on my mood at the time.
No you are the Clown. Yes he is. That is why he is fighting in horrible commission Texas. The same Texas commission that found no reason to do ANY testing for the Clottey fight. Nothing except his MORTAL fear of random drug testing. Notice I did not say giving blood? He seems to have no problem with that. He has a problem with giving blood to do random drug testing. You are in fantasy land too so say Hi when you see him.
Against Hagler and in the Duran rematch, Leonard danced and moved a lot. He did in spots against Howard, but most of the time, Leonard fought flat-footed, circled his opponent, boxed in a relaxed manner behind his jab, and then opened up with combinations.
