Why do people keep saying this over and over? He had 40 fights, more fights than , say, joe frazier , yet ive never heard anyone question joe for it (and rightly so)

Again, whats with the lack of fights bull****? Does SRR get held by different standards than others?

If Mayweather was to retire today he would have a grand total of 4 more fights than SRL. Hardly a big world of difference

Off from boxing 5 years with only one tune up fight in the middle of that lay-off and he comes back and goes up in weight to beat the most dominant force p4p in boxing at that time? you bet he was good.

Number of fights don't even mean that much.

Ali beat more top 10 contenders than SRR

He was the that good, especially from 1977-1982, when he retired late '82, was the best fighter in the game. But he probably had his head up his ass a bit too much, especially when he came back from retirement.Nevertheless, was all that.

Only a ***** would think that Mayweather is greater then SRL or that Floyd could actually beat SRL.

Tell me a attribute that Leonard didn´t have ??
You can say his defense was not exactly great but wouldn´t we say the same about Robinson ?

Wow. If SRL is/was a hypejob boxing should've died after Hagler/Leonard. No fighter has accomplished as much or more than him after him. Or will. Boxing mainstream is dead as everyone is a champion and the average ring IQ is lower than an ants belly. Actually it is dead come to think of it.
