Was Sultan held up by the ropes, i.e. was it a knockdown?

I thought he would've gone down if not for the ropes.

Iggy's gloves would have touched the canvas if not for the ropes. He didn't seem seriously hurt though.

 

would have gone down if not for the ropes..and if not for wlad still being so close. as he bounced off the ropes it still looked like he was goin down but he was able to grad wlad around the knees and regain his balance

 

Yes, he had no where to go but down to the flush 1-2, 1-2s right down the pipe. He found a seat on the ropes and Wayne Kelly did not see that cause he took the four straight punches so quick and got up that quick also... Sultan absorbed more than people expected him to but that should have been counted as a knockdown.

 

Wlad kinda barged into him also though.

 

For sure the ropes held him up, I consider it a knockdown... but the ref didn't so no knockdown.

By the way, Sultan has a great chin if you ask me. Sure Wlad didn't connect with many rights, but other fighters have gone away with those shots.
