The above post is valid. Davis is more talented than Broner, but I respect AB a lot more. Broner was a clown, but to his credit he was willing to fight anyone. Davis is willing to fight no one.
Garcia hadn't made lightweight in over 2 years before the Davis fight and was forced to sign a rehyrdration clause.
I would say a lacklustre performance. Definitely lacking some fire but he’ll be back I’m sure. The haters are out in full swing so hopefully that will take some pressure off him
I think Roach fought an excellent fight. Perhaps fans underestimated him. Tank looked explosive and sharp. No diffrent than any other fight.
He was exposed when he fought the bang average Isaac Cruz. That was his first unofficial loss and it not only exposed his level but it also exposed an inherent mental weakness and his fear of getting hit. As I noted at the time, he did everything within his power to avoid getting into an honest exchange with T-Rex armed Cruz: Running, grabbing ahold of him for dear life everytime Cruz got into range, stiff-arming etc. And as we saw again last night vs light-hitting 130 pounder PBC cherrypick, the godawful Rolly, Ryan's emaciated severely drained ghost, Twink's face was a mask of fear at the notion of getting hit. Let this sink in: Twink fought like he was in against a prime obviously way bigger Beterbiev last night when in reality he was facing a career 130 pounder with a KO 40% who he dragged up in weight as he has done many times with world champions or former world champions. Twink looked like a hood lesbian dwarf with that hairstyle, that white vest and covered in all those tatts. Like he was really overcompensating to look tough and as masculine as possible but it's all so transparent and fake because he's clearly mentally weak. Hence why he tries so hard to put on a tough guy act and to bully and intimidate his opponents and has studiously avoided elite competition his entire career and shamelessly ducked prime versions of fighters for years who would have to KO him to come away with a SD loss. Look at how he was talking to Roach at certain stages of the fight with that painfully transparent display of bravado only to immediately hop back on his tricycle and backpedal around the ring in mortal fear of getting clipped by the wind of a punch from a dragged up KO 40% 130 pounder cherrypick. You don't have to be Sigmund Freud to see through the act. He's a textbook flat-track bully and a mental weakling
At the level he competes at he can seem that way. And that's what I'm saying. You want to see him show off his ability and knock those mfs out If he fought the best he won't do that and more.
He was not forced. He accepted it same as Tank was not forced into the catchweight because he accepted it.
