Here come the excuses. At 135 teo is a dangerous man. Slightly above average boxing skills but extreme athleticism, speed, and power. He's also gigantic for that weight class. Geroge, who is also elite, fought a near perfect fight. People are acting like teo lost to a bum.

That Loma is fighting 2 weight divisions above where he should be isn't being taken into account when rating his opponents.

I think he’ll be broke and a nobody in a couple of years.

all champions lose. Needs to go to 140 and call it a career.

He's very talented, is fast, very athletic and explosive, and hits really hard with both hands and he's better as a counter puncher when he's walking his opponents into shots, but he's a massive weight bully who looks like death on the scales and he just got lucky against an injured Loma who is a natural 126 pounder who dared to be great by trying to unify a division where everyone is way bigger than him and he's giving away huge physical advantages to virtually everyone and doesn't belong in. Down at 126 and 130 Loma looked supernaturally good but these guys up at 135 are giants and huge weight bullies.

That being said, it's funny how a bunch of fighters ears have pricked up who had zero interest in facing Lopez when he held the belts are now calling out Kambosos since he relieved him of them

They think he is a LW Buster Douglas. Haney, Tank, Garcia want to be Evander Holyfield.

Teo was much smarter during the Loma fight behind this jab, against Kambo he ran in with head hunting power shots and gassed in 4 rounds.

Lomachenko's father did not want his son to fight with his shoulder. Ofc you don't remember that.
Lopez isn't making excuses. He doesn't need to because he won 10-2.

A bit Ye.. I think he's a weight grifter Who managed to get an exceptional talent in the ring just at the right time.. healthy Loma beats them both

He is to big for 135 and his team have stated so. Question now is will his power be a factor when he moves up in weight. He will have a very difficult time if it doesn’t

Well he was good enough to beat Loma.

But either Kambosos is a P4P star in waiting, or Lopez was over rated.

There's diminishing returns every time in P4P victories. Beating Teo is definitely not as impressive as Teo beating Loma. Beating Kambosos will be even less so.

I noticed the same thing. Suddenly you are hearing Haney, Tank and Ryan Garcia interested in a title shot now they Lopez is no longer champ. The only guy who was calling out Teo was Loma. I hope George hangs on to the belts for a while, until he fights Loma. That will be a good fight but I don’t think George can beat him. Anything is possible and I’m cool with either guy winning. I hope the judges get it right if it goes to the cards, assuming they meet in the ring.

Whatever happens, and whichever matchups take place, I hope these guys fight more than once per year. Also look forward to Tank fighting someone in the e top ten, a real LW, not a featherweight moving up for by he first time. Maybe 2023.
