Eh, sort of a canned hunt when your opponent has turned his back to you and doesn't see it coming...but that said, yes, it was a mighty right hook.

 

Wilder beat the count and followed the refs instructions. Disgraceful stoppage. The Bronze Bomber should have allowed to continue.

 

Wouldn't made much of a difference. Wilder was hurt badly, was flat on his back, dazed and he wasn't even protesting the stoppage. The ref did Wilder a favor by saving him from getting more clean power hits on him.

 

So be it. That would have been fate. But this is world level boxing. Fighters should be allowed to go out on their shields. Hell... Sometimes they come back from it.
