To be fair the undercard fights were good. The main event was just unbelievably bad

That is unfair, Hatton puts on great shows. Sure, his last two main events haven't been up to much, but considering he only set the promotional company up earlier this year he has done a fantastic job.

well said we need more promoters not less although the problem with ex fighters becoming promoters is that often they have history with promoters from there past boxing career which stands in the way of good matchmaking

You may think it was great, but someone as superior as myself expects better:bart  Brodie scrap was ok I suppose but my memory is still hurting from the main event.

39 punches landed each is atrocious. I don't trust punch stat numbers entirely, but I think it's fair to say they were low. Small wants to be a Roy Jones lookalike but just isn't athletic enough.

It was a very poor fight, but with those stats it was a tear up compared to Nelson v De Leon. They never even threw that amount of punches if I remember rightly.
Not that I want to remember......

Alex Matvienko vs Paul Royston - Alex tried hard to get within ten feet of Royston, who looked like a startled rabbit throughout.

I'd have nailed the ****er on the way back to his corner at the end of each round :-(

I honestly think that was the worst fight I've ever seen. Wlad vs Sultan was boring but Wlad did throw a few nice right hands. Haye vs Valuev was also awful but had a brief moment of excitement when Haye wobbled Valuev, which is more than I can say for last nights fight.

Neither of them deserved to win, the scorecards should have been 0-0 and the titles been made vacant for a real boxer to win.
