Was that the worst stoppage of the year?

been quite a few dodgy looking stoppages on boxnation to be honest....i expect to see a good few more, on there, in the not too distant future :yep

 

The guy was actually hurt/getting hit so it's already behind Kell Brook's last fight.

 

been so many bad stoppages this year!

And lol at Enzo slapping Big Mac after the match. He's already won, you idiot, he doesn't need firing up.

 

he could have gone on,and got hurt,that short right hand on the ropes hit him bang on the chin and hurt him.
ive seen worse,would of liked it to go on a bit longer though

 

It wasn't that bad of stoppage, Sure It could of gone on though.

 

The stoppage was too late imo.

He was clearly way overmatched and about a foot smaller than Enzo. It should have been stopped before he even got into the ring.

 

yer the guys legs were gone, landed two flush shots on the chin and the guy had his hands down. had the ref not stopped it enzo would of landed hard shots at will on a defenseless Marosi. Good stoppage in my opinion.

Marosi didnt complain.

 

Just watched on Youtube. Fair stoppage IMO - Enzo had him hurt with a big left, then the right. Perhaps a standing count would have been better.

When a boxer is hurt, especially in the first round, you don't stop the ****ing fight. It's boxing, people get hurt, its if his health is at danger or he's knocked out when you jump in.

 

Bad stoppage, but what did you expect, the chippy's were getting ready to close and Macca was starving!

 

and how do you judge if a fighters "health is in danger"? the ref is closest to the action and often has less than a second to decide whether a fight should continue or be stopped...in this case the made a call based on the fella not defending himself and being dazed whilst enzo was tee-ing up more power shots.

having said that, i agree that the ref should have called standing count rather than wave it off straight away. but this was a long long way from the worst stoppage of the year...we have had much worse in the last 2 or 3 weeks.

 

It was a bad stoppage IMO but unfortunately still nowhere near the worst.

 

Having just watched it again it was a pathetic stoppage
