Was the Chavez vs Taylor Round 12 Stoppage Good or Bad?

  1. It's really interesting to me that the poll numbers are so evenly matched. It means both sides of the argument need to give the other side credence.

No they dont, it means some people vote based on emotion and the others based on how boxing should be officiated.

Its clear as day from how people are responding to this thread, 1 side is going for the fighters safety and the rules of boxing where the other side is "oh there was only so much time left lets make every exception to the rules and put the guy in mortal danger because he deserves to win"

3 things came to mind as i read the thread title:

    1. Steele should have been aware of the seconds left in the fight and he was not
    2. Taylor Not responding to Steeles questions
    3. The reason he didnt respond? ANSWER: Lou Duva distracting him by jumping up on the apron.

So all in all it seemed like the perfect little storm for a controversial night at the fights.

To all the people that say Taylor domnated the fight or schooled Chavez let me kindly point out the facts for you.

Taylorsuffered a broken eye socket, broken ribs, badly busted up face, had a lot of blood pumped from his stomach, was ****ing blood for weeks and was in hospital for almost 2 weeks following the fight.
