Yes i do give or take a million.

Remember he had a 50-50 split with SBO and all those PPV's sold between 500,000 and 900,000.

Despite it being a **** fight, that fight did catch the publics imagation as you had two very well known british stars who knew how to hype a fight.

Probably sold around 750,000 PPV's which is something like £12 million and then you factor in ticket sales, international tv rights, sponsors, merchandise etc etc.

Team Valuev made a MASSIVE mistake by ignoring british PPV sales, they gave HAYE all the rights to the television money he made in the UK. Thats why Valuev never once set foot in the UK to promote the fight as he wasn't getting a cut of the tv money here.

The Valuev fight did amazing business in the UK, the public saw this 7 foot giant and thought what the ****...they laped it up and bought the PPV which is Haye's biggest selling PPV even more then the Klitschko fight at around 850,000 ppvs.

He had a 50-50 split on all SBO PPV's.

Can't see any conspiracy here. Yes Haye is minted from SBO and that's the reason himself and the Dark Lord are willing to grease Edward's palm to get back there asap. Their eyes no doubt lit up when they saw Edward get a SBO fixture so quickly into his Sky reign; Booth and Haye will be hoping for big figures on May 25th as much as anyone and would've wanted a first outing on regular Sky done and dusted pretty sharpish.

    True.

He needed one free fight to rehabilitate himself with Sky and then you can bet his October fight would have been SBO especially if they could get a Tyson Fury or David Price(if he beat TT in rematch) in the ring.

Haye made a packet from valuev fight cos sky didnt think the fight would sell well so they made a deal where they took a high percentage of the money taken from the first 100,000 buys and haye would get a high percentage of the money for every buy over 100,000.

Exactly. The fight just caught the publics imagination once they saw what Valuev looked like and how tall he was next to Haye and of cause they have the perfect tagline 'David vs Goliath'.

A few days before the fight i kept hearing casual fans talking about the fight. I saw the fight in a casino and there was something like 3000 people crammed in there, the manager said he'd never seen anything like it and from what i heard it was the same all over the place.

From the reports i heard it sold around 800,000 PPV's and remember some of those sales would have been priced higher then the normal £15 due to bars and nightclubs paying higher license fees.

To be fair, the Audley fight did drum up a lot of interest.
