Was The Headbutt Intentional?

He did go nuts..but I'd attribute that to the fact that after getting battered around, he had gotten Torres hurt and knew he HAD to get in there and finish him off.


Whether he knowledgably used the headbutt to get that advantage, we'll never know. All we can do is assume, wonder and speculate.

I don't agree...but you seem EMPHATIC about it so arguing it would be extremely futile.

The way I see it...there's no way a battered Holt who had just gotten knocked down twice, was extremely loopy, still eating punches and looking for a way out would've thought about executing a headbutt to get some sort of knock out. Holt's charging up to punch with his head down coming in (which is the #1 cause of low blows actually) Torres is moving foroward to throw some more bombs, heads collide. Torres falls backwards because he's dazed from a butt and the body punch at the same time and then Holt finishes the deal.

Controversial? Sure.

That's why we need a third one.

 

It's more like you can't let go of your pride because you know you are wrong and you basically shoot down people who don't agree with your views. Most of us saw what we saw on TV and it was very apparent that it was an accidental headbutt.

We're both speculating...I believe I stated that. In fact, the begining of the sentence is "The way I see it". As for me being emphatic, I have...four posts here in this thead. While I can't say how many pages this has been going on for (or at least on your behalf), I do see that you posted a bit on the page before this one...so it's obviously a stance you feel strong about. You ARE emphatic that Holt did it on purpose, or else you wouldn't be waging this war on it.

If you really think he did it on purpose than more power to ya...but I don't. Godspeed.
