    Again, problem with the right arm. I think others have said he had some sort of cyst that prevented him from really generating power.

    Louis was washed up. Marciano fans like to big him up, but he was done. Now, Jersey Joe Walcott - who was the same age - was another matter. He was still a formidable foe when Marciano beat him.

    Probably an underrated win. It's like his undefeated record that only started to become relevant after Mayweather went 50 and 0.

    If prime Louis was KOd by Schmeling, I rate 1952/3 Rock to have a chance at prime Louis as well

    I loved how Rocky immediately went to his corner after dropping a opponent. I don't know "or believe" it was a insult in boxing doing that? or he just knew his opponent would not get up?
    If I can compare a different sport, they say when you toss the football to the ref after scoring a touchdown, it s a insult to the other team...

    Louis was totally shot, he won the title 14 yrs prior his best performance was likely 13 years prior. He was done even admitted himself he couldn't pull the trigger. Prime Louis is a nightmare match up for Rocky. By the time he stepped in the ring against Marciano he'd been a pro for over 17 yrs nobody would anywhere close to their prime after that long.
