Wow u really dont want to let this go. Well look I stand behind what I said and it's pretty well self explanatory. I have nothing more to say on it. I dont like any of these people in his circle and I'm not going to put any more time into it.

Cool. Don't put any more time into it then.

If anyone reading this actually knows something about Wali Muhammad though, I'd appreciate it if you could clear this up. Was he a leech? Does he have low credibility? @reznick ?

Frazier was fresh in the FOTC and this was his pinacle fight, he was young, fit, 26-0 and savage at 5"10 205lbs, Frazier fought at 203 for Quarry & Bonavena and was usually below 205lbs after the Ali victory he went on a partying tour with Joe Frazier & the knockouts and because of the Ali fight became a household name.

Woman and partying and when he came back for Daniels and Stander he was 216 and 218 and got staggered in both fights then he fought Foreman in 1973 and weighed in at 214, he had some decent wins after & always competetive with Ali but he was never the same as the FOTC.

Remember Frazier had a career total of 32 wins 4 losses and 1 draw for a grand total of 37 fights so a short prime and short professional career although he won the NY & Northern version of the title in his 19th fight and unified against Ellis in his 24th fight & made 4 defenses leading to the Foreman fight.

Personally, I feel all of Ali's nonsense motivated Frazier to the point of an almost super human performance. Unlike the head games that made , Foreman fight one of the dumbest fights in history, or unnerved Liston, Frazier willed his body to accept punishment most fighters would've quit way before 15th rd. Conversely, It tested Ali , and made all of us realize for all the flash, all the mean spirited jokes he made about Frazier, all the bragging, underneath all that, beat the heart of a warrior. As another poster wrote , those fights brought out the best of both men.
