that povetkin received so embarrassing that it forced him into looking for something extra so that he wouldn't gas and get whooped again? I mean that fight was pretty embarrassing for povetkin....if that were me id prob have started cheating too or just retired altogether......but it seems embarrassing enough that one might start looking for a competitive advantage
heres prob povetekins train of thought "man that kid has a vicious right hand that puts people to sleep....I don't want any part of that....I got my **** beaten by a cruiserweight.....so let me take some of this stuff....best case scenario the fight gets called off and im spared further embarrassment....worst case scenario I still have to fight but maybe I have a fighting chance if I have some extra gas late"
One of those questions that need to be asked, when did he start using the drug. This is what happens when coming up dirty, everything is questioned.
Yes. He was also taunted by the local kids for being doughy so after wiping the tears from his eyes he spent his remaining pocket miney on roids, PEDs and hair volumiser.
This was definitely it Huck destroyed Povetkin in one of the worst robberies we have ever seen The bum started roiding after that loss
I don't believe Potvetkin was taking ANYTHING back then. I don't think he was even training seriously. I believe the Wlad fight was his turning point. From that loss forward, we've seen a leaner, more defined, but still strong Potvetkin, and it's possible that Meldonium had something to do with it. However, all the evidence suggests that it's not a ped, any more than is protein powder or creatine. :think
I agree that the Klitschko match was a turning point in his career. And the Huck vs Povetkin fight was a great fight and absolutely no robbery. Huck did not beat up Povetkin, it was an even match-up and to win a title you have to be better then the champion. Huck wasn't. I even scored it 115-113 for Povetkin.
that whole line about having to "be better than the champion" is a load of trash yes...to win a fight you have to be better than the other guy...but that line/statement implies you have to do more than just win the fight.....which is garbage...i dont care who the champion is or what hes done to get there...if the other guy is better than him that night or beats him then its just that....this notion you have to do more than enough to just win against a champion is utter trash its like saying to beat golden state warriors at home you have to win by at least 10 points because they are the champion
You say that like its something to be ashamed of, Marco would probably maul a lot of supposed top Heavyweights. You just saw what Glowacki and Brieids did to 2 heavies.
I expect that pov took one look at Hucks great big chin and thought it was British light entertainment legend Bruce forthsyth .as Brucey is pushing 90 beating him up probably is not a very good idea .mind you good game good game.when Brucey got up from being KOed he could say didn't he do well:
