    Pac gave the bigger beating

    Martinez gave a bigger shock

    Pavlik looked like a drunk

Margo went out like a warrior

    Ummm, Nah!
    More Arguello/Pryor like, IMO.

The Martinez/Pavlik fight was actually looking good for Kelly in the beginning.
In the Margo/Pacquiao fight, Manny landed the "respect" shot early that changed the entire flow.

No. Martinez - Pavlik was close, Pavlik stole the middle rounds and knocked Martinez down. Sergio's late fight surge won him the fight. It was also a fight betweem two well matched opponents operating on a similar level. Sergio didn't embarras Pavlik by any means.

Pac - Margo was a fight between an elite fighter and a 'good' fighter. Pac gave him a sustained beating for 12 rounds, and Margo didn't have a chance. Comletely different.

Sergio fought the opponent closer to his skill level, who was also a champion who had only one defeat. Pac fought a disgraced fighter who hadn't looked good since he was beating people with suspected Plaster wraps. But Pac won in a more dominant fashion, so I think it's Pac by a small margin.

I can see why you'd make the comparison, but I think SportsLeader is spot on:

I scored it 8-4 but the closest I have seen is 7-5. It was somewhat close. Pavlik won a number of the middle woudns, and knocked Martinez down if you haven't forgotten. The fight itself was quite close until Sergio surged and cut Pavlik, effectively ending Kelly's stake in the fight. Until Martinez truned it up, Martinez was only winning by a slight margin. Sergio won clearly, but it was still a close fight. The Cintron fight (Which was a draw but Martinez clearly won) was only a bit closer than the Pavlik fight IMO.

Pavlik dropping Martinez was more of a hold, hit and trip than a KD...

Pavlik just got outworked. Margarito got battered and then carried to the end of the fight over the last two and a half rounds.

Pac's beatdown was better because he completely dominated and never got tired and never stopped throwing hard fast shots all night. Martinez had to take a breather for a few rounds.
