The original group of contenders in the forties included; Charlie Burley, Eddie Booker, Holman Williams,Lloyd Marshall,Cocoa Kid, Bert Lytell, Jack Chase, and Tiger Wade...
But what about this group from the sixties? George Benton, Holly Mims, Rubin Carter, Henry Hank, Doug Jones, and Mauro Mina...Do you think they are comparable? Alot of very good names on both sides...I'm not totally familiar with the names in the forties...but I've seen each from the sixties, and they are a very solid group from a tough era as well...
    (I've problably missed some names)
