Was there a certain fighter that got you interested in boxing? If so, who?

I'm young, De La Hoya started it for me then Barrera kept it going... now I follow it religiously.

I'll tell you that it was a fellow Pinoy, Manny Pacquiao. I began to follow boxing seriously after his first victory over Barrera. Only then did I learn about the different ABCs, weight divisions, and superstars in Lennox Lewis, PBF, Cotto, and Hatton to name a few. The draw against JMM really drew my ire.

    Julio Cesar Chavez.

My first memories of boxing extend to watching his fights with my family.

It was very exciting. And of course Mike Tyson around the same time in the mid-nineties

Really started around the time of Ivan Robinson and Ike Quartey, but have consistently been watching Barrera over the years.

Clearly Tye Fields for me. His performance last weekend sparked an unending desire to follow the sport of boxing.

Duran from Duran-Leonard I. His intensity and fire from that fight was amazing.

Boxing came to me over a somewhat small period of time and it grew on me over MMA(my first passion) because of the technical skills and aesthetic qualities to it. Whitaker was the first fighter that I became a true fan of, and he's really the only fighter I'll admit to being biased for to this day.

Probably Leonard and Hagler. I'll never forget that menacing dude with
the bald head yelling, after he K.Oed an opponent screaming into the
camera, "I am the uncrowned champion. Give me a title shot." The
great Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Those were the days.
