Was there any fighter in history with Duran`s reach and height that could have beaten Hearns?

    Valdez doesn't qualify per the threat criteria. He had 3" more reach than Duran and was 2 1/2" taller. Duran and Walker were basically awash for height and reach.

    Much the same way he got through to Monzon in the 2nd round of their rematch....and Monzon was more defensively savvy than Hearns...and had a better chin than Tommy.

    Hearns had quicker hands than Monzon when he was at 154 Valdez had more of a middleweight reach than Duran, I was mainly aiming this question at 154 or below.
