Was there any strict drug testing for the Hopkins vs Shumenov fight?

I didn't hear of anything, so we can assume the standard drug testing was done.

If Hopkins is on PED's he needs a refund, physically he is declining especially in the last few fights. He's lost muscle mass in the last couple of fights coming in lighter than he has done so for years, so I doubt he's on anabolics or HRT as that would help him maintain muscle mass not lose it.

If he's on something like EPO to improve his stamina and work rate then they are not working his work rate his much less than it was in his prime.

    I seriously doubt he's on PED's.

Look at how low the fight's work rate was. Shumenov allowed Hopkins to fight at Hopkins slow pace and that means you lose against Hopkins. It's impressive as hell that Hopkins does what he does, but Hopkins isn't in there bouncing around like a young man. He wins fights with his brain and by dragging the pace down where he can keep up, not by some crazy athleticism at 49. I would bet there's very little chance Bernard is taking illegal substances to achieve what he's achieving at 49. He's just a master technician who imposes his game and his pace on his opponent.

Why was Pac asked to take stricter testing in the first place?

Why was he smeared by the Mayweathers for no other reason than being too good for Floyd.?

obviously Hopkins is on something, and him winning last night had nothing to do with Shumenov having ZERO defense and head movement

I think it's far more likely that Porter is using than Hopkins, especially given how "enhanced" his performances have become since the first Diaz fight and because he works with known cheat Victor Conte.

He beat a guy with 15 pro fights and no trainer, now B-hop is on peds? He's a master boxer he did what he was supposes to do. It's not like he demolish the guy, he just out classed and schooled him.

Exactly. You need to pressure Hopkins, get him out of his comfort zone. A guy with 15 fights, the best opponent he faced was Campillo-who is good- but no other top notch fighters. NO experience at all really. Remember Campillo DID beat him twice, even if he did not get the nod both times.:-(

Again that issue. You losers don't really know how to let it go, don't you. You look like Jean Pascal "Take the Tast". Bernard is a consumate professional, a clean athlete and a masterful ring fighter and when you realize that not even age beats him, you cry he must be on dope. Go on crybabies, the titles are in da house!!!
