    Roy Jones in his prime? I'm watching a few of his fights and really I can't remember ever c'n such blistering speed, in single punches and combos...

    Such a talent!!!

    His combinations were blistering, but I hate to say it I think he very rarely worked off the jab. It was all like hooks and power shots even with the left. He could throw like 5 or 6 left hooks and land them all.

    Probably the biggest truly fast guy with power ever, too bad his work rate sloughed off at the end of his career as he started to just kind of, wisely at times, play it safe. In his prime a devastating offensive machine, just not that technically sound. When you are that fast and explosive and strong you don't have to be sound.

    Look at the fight against Vinny Pazienza and tell me that he had no jab.

    4 or 5 jabs in a row right on a chin few times in the fight.

    Jones vs Pazienza is maybe the biggest demonstration by a fighter ever.

    In the round 3 Pazienza threw many shots and NO ONE has landed. Historic record

    I know I might get **** of this, but I love Paulies jab.
    He won all his fights with it.

    Khan has a quick jab too.

    I agree both do have beautiful jabs BUT on a P4P level do u think they were faster than a prime Roy? Look @ the Lucas fight, his Jab n combo's were a thing of beauty

    Jones didnt really throw the Jab.

    Look up the following guys and see a fast jab

    Hearns
    Norris
    Breland


    But the fastest hands I have seen are those of Howard Davis

    Hearns, Holmes and Whitaker are the 3 best.

    Roy didn't really utilise the jab all that much at all.
