He wasn't a very convincing actor, though. I'd compare his performance in the McGovern bout to Keanu Reeves's performance in Bram Stoker's Dracula.
He seems to be the most complete fighter of the era, maybe the most complete fighter of all time period. Certainly no one would compete with him here until Leonard in the 20's and Louis in the 30s. I think he's one of the best fighters on film ever.
