    If the criteria is similar size, speed, power and boxing ability, it's very hard to come up with a fight that's close. But these were good slug fests that I don't think have been mentioned yet:

    Morrison vs Ruddock
    Mercer vs Cooper
    Holyfield vs Dokes

    This fight is among my most overrated...Lyle begins with a wild rush completely missing anything! Cosell: Lyle missing with a wide almost amateurish right....(if a modern fighter did this classic would be all over it!). And it never really improves.

    horrible conditioning from both guys, the skill is sloppy...just don’t see what other people see when they watch this. I found this pretty sad in honesty. Competitive yes, climactic perhaps...good? not even a blip on the radar for me.
