Was this actually the perfect result for Tyson Fury?

Only getting the draw could help keep him motivated, as well as having clear stuff to improve with the knockdowns, yet he can be encouraged from his great performance, and everyone saying he should've won.

Well I think after the way he conducted himself after the draw, he gained a lot of new fans and he will be back though it would have been better if he won ofc as it would set up the AJ fight straight away

No it isn't and that's an idiotic statement. The man won this fight and clearly too. This wasn't a close fight at all. There isn't a single person I've spoken to today that wasn't equally as disgusted as I was with the result.

It was crap scoring, but I think it might end up being better for him.

Just finished first view, have to say my mind was thinking fury was going to put in the performance of his life while Wilder did nothing.

The complete opposite was /is the truth.

That was the best performance fury could ever at any point in time VS Wilder while Wilder couldn't ever fight any worse VS fury ever abs he still won in my eyes.

The rematch fury has less than zero chance. Wilder now knows he isn't going to be looking obit at the spectacular ko and just fight to win and with that mindset he'll end up with the highlight real KO

I said before that in a perverse way him getting robbed might be in his best interest, much like how Lewis' benefited from the acceptance of fans after the Holyfield robbery.

The decision obviously sucked but in the long term if it results in Fury being accepted by the fans in a way a win wouldn't of achieved it will help him in the long run. It obviously stung him when fans didn't take to him after the Wlad win and ironically after this robbery he might well receive the acceptance and respect he so dearly craved.
