No this wasn't as much like that... It was a schooling, I think Jcal vs Jlacy was special because it was a major shock. Most people thought Adonis would beat Cloud.

 

Cloud never had the kind of killer instinct it takes to be special. He was not throwing punches and fighting very slowly the entire fihgt.

He couldve done some damage and perhaps won if he'd have trusted his chin and power. It wasnt exactly Bhop he was fighting in there.:shock:

 

It definitely proved to be a one sided fight and a fight in which Stevenson showed huge confidence and also impressive skill. However, and this is just my reading of the fight, it looked to me like Cloud lost his confidence in the first round and became increasingly desperate, allowing Stevenson to dominate.

JC v Lacy was a schooling, not only because of the skills displayed but it was an utter destruction of a fighter many believed would win convincingly.

 

Pavlik - Hopkins and Pascal - Hopkins were better schoolings by an ATG

 

People hold their personal resentments of Adonis too great and think he's a bad boxer... You don't have to root for them to give them proper credit.

 

Pascal Hopkins were both close fights.

 

No Cal vs lacy was better. PET vs Chico was better , Barreras vs Hamel was better , Rigorous vs Donarie was . B HOP vs Trinidad people forget just how big of a favorite tito was in that fight seems silly now but at the time every publication and most thought Trinidad was going to flat blast Hopkins
