I disagree with Frank Mir breaking Nog's arm. If you're not going to tap, that's what's going to happen.

 

Define what 'he wasn't going to make it' means. If it means him becoming the undisputed champ and defending the title like 10 times against monsters before retiring undefeated, then yea he didn't 'make it'. But considering his basically non-existant fighting experience, his lame stand up, the level of opposition he faced and the illness he battled twice, he did pretty good.

I agree, but even so what he did was dangerous for his opponent and a very low move. They're supposed to be professional athletes, not street fighters.

And I also don't understand why people mention the Mir/Nog rematch in this thread. Frank didn't do anything wrong.

Come on dude. The ref told him 'stop it, stop it right now' and Jones simply let go of the choke hold. Did you really expect him to hold Machida up and gently placing him on the canvas?

Rousimar Palhares vs. Tomasz Drwal at UFC 111 has to be at least in the Top 5.

Anyone who has trained BJJ for any moderate amount of time knows how dangerous heel hooks are and for damn sure Palhares knows.

Palhares is one of the dirtiest player in the sport. I think hes held a sub too long a number of times.
